Eli Seggev, Ph.D.   Eli spent his career teaching in graduate business programs, founding two marketing research companies that were acquired by multinationals, and developing a thriving practice in survey research for trademark infringement litigation. His doctoral dissertation, which developed a new brand loyalty theory, was awarded the American Marketing Association Dissertation Award. He has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and political science from Hebrew University, an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in marketing and quantitative methods from Syracuse University.

Alon Cohen   Entrepreneur, inventor and known as a creator of the Voice over IP industry, Alon Cohen co-founded VocalTec Communications, the first company to provide Internet voice technology worldwide and one of the earliest successful Internet IPOs. He authored 5 US communication technology patents and is one of the first two inductees in the VoIP Hall of Fame, Alon joined as an executive vice president and CTO after founding a series of successful business ventures. He represented the State of Israel in the United Nations negotiations of the ITU Study Group 16 for the development and ratification of global VoIP standards. He holds an MBA and BSC.EE from Tel Aviv University. Alon’s interest in advanced digital marketing technics led him to join HOO-R-U, LLC. as a member of the founding team, contributing his technology expertise.

Reinhold Beautler   Reinhold is an accomplished marketing professional who enjoys collaborating with corporate stakeholders and clients in analyzing new market opportunities, defining business strategies, and executing marketing programs. Early in his career, he focused on helping clients in Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, and Pharmaceuticals in transforming their traditional business models to better compete in online markets. Reinhold also held several corporate marketing positions with an emphasis on market analysis, business intelligence, and data strategy to help identify and prioritize strategic investment opportunities. He has a B.A. (Business Administration and Economics) and an M.B.A (Marketing, Finance) from the University of Bayreuth in Germany. Reinhold’s passion for developing new business ideas and customer-focused solutions led him to join HOO-R-U, LLC. as a member of the founding team, contributing his marketing expertise.

Vanessa Koi-Ploski   As a Creative Director, Vanessa blends her knowledge of design, writing, and marketing with practical, creative solutions and technologies. She has designed branding and communications for startups as well as some of the world’s most successful organizations, including Yale University, Schlumberger, Nabisco and Johnson & Johnson. Vanessa’s work has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), Print Magazine, and Communication Arts. Vanessa received her BFA in Communication Arts from Parsons School of Design. While overseeing social marketing for corporations, Vanessa has seen how individual users are defined by the platforms they use, often in contrast to who they really are. She joined HOO-R-U, LLC. intrigued with the concept of a tool that helps individuals take control of, and benefit from, their own social media identities.

Helana Balkin   Helana practices corporate and employment law. She currently serves as outside general counsel to a number of businesses, providing recommendations to management, implementing internal policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. She received her B.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Miami where she graduated magna cum laude. Shortly thereafter, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. While attending law school, Helana served as associate editor for the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and was the recipient of both the Outstanding Merit Scholarship and Dean’s Honor Scholarship.

Alex Horenstein, Ph.D.   Alex is on the Economics faculty of the University of Miami. The focus of his research is econometrics and experimental and behavioral economics with special emphasis on real world applications. Before joining the University of Miami faculty Alex was on the faculty of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Economics in his native Argentina, Alex was awarded a full scholarship at Arizona State University where he obtained his Ph.D. Alex’s interest in applied economics led him to establish a startup dedicated to building online experimental game theory applications. He joined HOO-R-U, LLC. as a member of the founding team. His expertise in research methodology, advanced data science applications and econometrics are a key factor in ensuring the soundness and quality of our products.

Mikhail Kelner   Mikhail is an Entrepreneur, Journalist, Vlogger, Hobbyist Photographer, UI/UX Designer & a Full Stack, Front-End & Back-End Developer. Mikhail is currently a Senior Developer at the Innovation Lab. A citizen of the world (Russia, Israel, USA), Mikhail started programming at the age of 14 and went on to receive a degree in Computer Science.
